The work develops following two different currents of symbols characterised by different origins and a different morphology of the stroke.

The first current captures and reinterprets the signs of rock-painting and Maori's tattoos once destined to tell individual and tribal stories as well as heroic and divine exploits. The tattoo was a "belief" and, at the same time, it was considered as the forthright assertion of the bond with the ancestors.

The second current instead, has been inspired by the mysterious and yet undeciphered Rongorongo script, indigenous to the Easter Island (Rapa Nui). >>
